17 January

Once again when stumped for a decent idea I fall back on cooking. Sheesh.
I liked all the different colors in this one

Paul W had me worried when he hit 'foto block' & somebody with his talent running out of ideas . . .well shoot . . . what's to keep us rookies afloat!

But so far the mundane is working.

Olympus C-2100UZ
1/15s f/2.8 at 15.7mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Personally I think this shot is warm with rich "family" feel. It's difficult for me to take good pictures at cooked food. The pictures look "dead" even the dish is very delicious. I need to learn more from fellow PADers. :)

Now I see why you liked my dinner shot.
Yours is better. I can't seem to get the right shot hand-held so I do too much in photoshop afterwards. Tripod for this one?

You ask how to come up with ideas? STEAL them from other PADer's and then give credit when you post...Imitation=Flattery!!

BTW, This is very cool!!

Give it a go, Stephen & Lara. . .even messes are creative & cool ( we especially like to laff at our messes!)
Linda you made me laugh! If you'll notice this was BEFORE . . the after would have had a smoke alarm feel to it LOL!

BTW - I meant because the hob just looks so clean....the only time mine looks like that is after my housekeeper goes home and before I mess it up with slops of this and that!

How amazing - I wish I could keep all the stuff i cook IN the pan rather than ON the cooker hob!!!

You've inspired me to cook, which I usually so don't.

I've tried a few cooking shots but haven't had any luck. You've inspired me to give it another try.
