Full sized replica was revealed October 15, 2011 at a dedication ceremony.
The female eagle it represents was killed by a landing airplane at the local airport in April(adjacent to the nesting territory).
With a six foot wingspan and a two foot pedestal, this sculpture stands over eight feet high.
It was made by *David Turner* of Onley, VA, on the Eastern Shore.
