Best viewed at "original" size
The incredible depth of field is achieved by shooting a series of 10 images
from the nearest to the furthest petal tips and rolling the focus along with each shoot.
Those 10 pictures were then blended into a single image thru' a software "Helicon Focus".
The following picture shows my lighting setup:
