A Yelping Seal

Cheung Chau, Hong Kong view map

I set up my camera while a rainstorm was approaching me.

Suddenly I found a rock in front of me
that looks like a seal with her head lying on the beach and yelping against me.

Looking great ! Could you get a standpoint a bit higher and to the right that would give a 'gap' between the seal and the rocks in the background of the picture?

A seal of approval no doubt for another fine image. Well done, CM.

Excellent composition with dramatic tone. The rock does look like a seal or a walrus. v

Another nice use of forground elements to create depth and add to composition interest.
