Water crossing? that is a shallow stream where you got the wheels wet. Wait untill you do water over bonnet river crossings in a real 4x4. I live in SA and do regular offroad trips into Botswana, Namibia and Mocambique. Land Rovers are a joke in this part of the world as they are very unreliable and spend more time in workshops then on the road. Freelanders are considered city cars and cannot stand up to the punishment of 4x4 overlanding in remote areas. We cover 1000's of km's over very rough terrain with vehicles heavily laden with fuel, water, food and camping kit to be self sufficient in the bush. In Africa Toyota Land Cruiser rules by far!
