fog on the pond

I was up early and went to the BU nature preserve pond, for somne shots in the fog.
Fog in the summertime around here is quite common, it forms in the valleys on clear nights,
when the wind is very light. The clear skies allow the warm air to radiate quickly, and
the lack of wind holds the moisture in the valley, which leads to fog. Once the sun comes
up in the morning, it begins to "mix" the air in the valleys and the fog lifts - see below:
