yes, these geese were actually heading north, to the backdrop of a subdued red evening sky. This is one of those shots I've been waiting to take for awhile now.

9 PaDs to go...and as I still have one more shot that I planned to take before I finished my year of PaD. Hope it works out in time...though that one requires a lot less luck than this one did.
