This is a great photo, capturing what is for some a moment of (religious) Exctasy (and I say that as an atheist)

Thanks for your comments, Guest, but you may not appreciate the circumstances in which this picture was taken. This is a religious festival - a celebration where everyone involved is a willing participant. Nobody is doing anything agaist their will and nobody suffers any long term damage. It was one of the most emotional and uplifting celebrations of Christianity that I have ever witnessed. The festival has featured in television documentaries the fact that is exists is not a reason to ignore or censor it. Much more distressing events than this where people are injured or abused against their will get plenty airtime and public attention.
