Crucifixion Up Close

This gallery shows details of a crucifixion undertaken as part of the San Pedro Cutud Lenten Rites in the Philippines. All participants are volunteers looking for forgiveness for sins and/or good fortune in the future. Real nails are used but the participants suffer no long term damage and remain on the cross typically less than 15 minutes.

I dont think the pictures on that day could have bettered these. You were so close.
An incredibly powerful sequence. I'm thinking utter madness but you cant help but be bowled ever by the scale of it all. It's his twentieth year as Jesus!
