Lenten Rites Flagellation

Self flagellation is undertaken by hundreds of males who have their backs cut to promote blood flow before whipping themselves with bamboo-tipped burillos.
Faces covered to hide their identity, they walk the streets whipping themselves, spreading droplets of blood in all directions along their route.

We can make comment against this people participating in this you called self mutalation is a insane way. For me i don't think so, this is a tradition way to ask forgivenes and accept for them self that they are sinners. We still don't know wat's in their heart because only God knows wat really is in their heart not Us to say such foolish word against this people participating in this tradition for forgiveness of their sin and have a new start in life.

it reminds me so much of what Jesus Christ have said to the Pharisees, " Hypocrites! you are like a whitewashed tombs - on the outside is clean and nice but in the inside is full filthy hearts! ". "For God sees not as man sees, For the man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart."

They can bleed themselves to death, but their righteousness is still like a filthy rags without Jesus Christ living in their hearts.

What good is this whooping if they will go back to their old wicked ways...a week later. Nonsense!
