I took off from San Francisco about 4:30AM and met up with few more friends along the way, got to the trail head around 9:00AM, about 45 minutes we were on top of Vernal Fall, another 40 minutes we were on top of Nevada Fall, then went to Merced River for some water, then there is little accident happened to me, I stepped on a wrong spot and slipped while I was refilling my water bottle, and my left foot was totally submerged in the water.....so to finish the remaining 12 mile with a wet boot is not something I enjoy doing it again.....we got to the Half Dome cable in about 4 hours, a whole hour slower than my "best time", blame it on the wet boot, LOL..... but I got to spend more time to play with the camera than I normally do on this trip, I have done Half Dome more than 10 times but I enjoyed the hike and the view up there every single time just as much as the first time.
