Loaded log train crossing the rail bridge over the South Toutle River, this appears to be just south of the cross-road of South Toutle Road and Luebke St. Google shows the bridge to be in place at this time.
The concrete structure was built shortly after the Mt St Helens eruption, most of the numerous logging routes and bridges in the area were destroyed by mudflows. A new route was determined and only two new bridges were built, Camp Baker was dug out but not connected by rail. A large number of fallen trees were salvaged and carried by the railroad into Longview.
