November Eagle

Trying out a teleconverter on the 70-200.
I thought the image could have been sharper - but it was greatly
cropped and I could have used a tripod rather than a monopod.

It is the season to see eagles in our area - the salmon have spawned
and their carcasses litter the wetlands - a virtual smörgåsbord for
the birds !

Cliff - you captured the majesty and regal grandeur of this wonderful animal. I love the stark contrast of the barren tree and the eagle. congrats! Jack

Beautifully shot and presented Cliff.
Nice composition and that lens with the converter looks like a winner.....judging by the clarity shown here.

This is well done, Cliff. I like that lens/converter combination is a good one, nice and sharp.

Geez, I'd have a long lens if I were you. You get this close to eagles in the wild? Eagles here have no choice but to live with us because we've built all over their nesting grounds. Up in Michigan getting this close is nigh impossible.
Anyhow, I like habitat photos and this is a fine one!
