I like this Cliff. Thus white balance is dead on for the inside shot. I like that you take us through doorways and then a window, which actually seems to bring me back in, somehow. I think it is the light.

I researched conjugation (like conjugating a verb, I thought) . Here's one definition... fusion of usually similar gametes with ultimate union of their nuclei that among lower thallophytes replaces the typical fertilization of higher forms .
But here's the definition of conjugate which makes very perfect sense in this image ... to become joined together. And, I agree, you did that well in this shot.

Simple yet very effective composition. Is this your house? It's a beautiful hallway.

Takes an artist's eye to see the possibilities - superb shot!

Very cool composition.

I thought too much conjugation put hair on your palms or made you go blind. Anyway, I like the way the image draws you inside the home.

Nice comp, the way you lead us down the hall visually. Beautiful floors and moulding, too.

@ G&M, I don't know what conjugating means re photography... (I thought that is what one does in the back bedroom at the end of the hall).
Nice work Cliff.

I like pictures of interiors and in this one once again you have showed your accuracy in conjugating technique, sensitiveness and eye for light.
Simply that…;^))
