Today I once again visited a churchyard hoping to get a gravestone shot, but I discovered that the doors of the church here at Worplesdon were unlocked and sought some natural light. I do find churches a great source for such shots.
Whilst exploring the church I saw a picture of our present Queen who attended a christening here back in 1947.
Coincidentally, the Queen was in nearby Guildford today giving out the Maundy Money, as our monarch does every year on the Thursday before Easter, although the venue changes each year. It’s a shame I was not able to make the short journey myself, but you can see some photos of the event at the official Royal Family web site HERE
I also uploaded this shot today, taken last week on my day trip to Belgium.
