I agree - this perfectly represents the feeling of the season.

The action blur gives this the perfect frantic Xmas shopping feel. You've reinforced my intention to stay away from malls and shop online. :)

Look at all those potential calendar buyers! Keep em coming!

(The perfect antidote to Christmas shopping is to be the other side of the counter - puts me off the whole commercial racket altogether! And I can save towards a 10-22!)

very moody picture..i liked it.full of motion.
Guest 04-Dec-2005 00:45
I love this photo, crowd in motion, it gives very well the feeling of the crowd.
Guest 04-Dec-2005 00:36

This image gives me a dizzy feeling, but I think that is what the holiday rush always gives me. I try to avoid it if possible. Your image really does capture the mood!--Rene

I'm going back to bed...
...can't see straight!

Did you hook up with that brunette
at the pub Ray?
KimKong03-Dec-2005 15:40
The crowd, the blur, make me feel a bit sick...
It's a bit claustrophobic here...
Maybe it's because I am a bit hung over.
We had a great night yesterday at Dan's, eh!... ;)

Hustle and Bustle!! I'm jolly pleased our gift shopping is done.
You have captured the "Christmas Theme!!!" very well.
Marek Kacprzak03-Dec-2005 15:35
some things never change... great use of blur to further emphasize not only the crowd but also its constant movement. visiting malls & shopping centers gives me an idea what it would be like to be one of many ants rushing through the mound (although, I strongly suspect the critters are much more efficient and orderly;)

great capture!
