Well, I couldn't use my tripod for this shot, well, not in the conventional sense :-)

Converted to Grayscale
Converted to Duotone in Pantone Black 7C

This time last year I did a 'Street Scene'

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/50s f/5.0 at 17.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

As in "Day of the Triffids"?/.. it does look monsterous.. like it's going to eat through your walls..

Like the diagonal light to dark across the tripod head

I love the dent/crack as well as that fantastic lighting.

That tripod-like Triffid plant with its animal-like behaviour, desperately slanted towards the wall is not only your masterpiece, but also one of the greatest photos ever made.
