Tonight we had a lovely evening sky and I went out here, on the edge of Pirbright Ranges to catch this. The pink light extended right over to the eastern horizon and the light was surreal everywhere.
Nikki; thanks for your kind comments - always nice coming from you whose work I regularly enjoy. I did actually use Auto Levels in Photoshop which I think restored the true colours, as the original was yellowy which was not right at all. I don't know about your Canon, but my little Fuji certainly needs colour adjustment in low light. I have posted both versions in my 'In Progress' gallery for you to compare. They are so different! The most difficult part in capturing this shot was parking the car on a winding hilly road in the rush hour! The spot is just SW of Lightwater and south of Camberley. I had planned another visit tonight but dusk was quite 'boring'!~~~Ray.

Georgeous colours in the sky, Ray! I like this shot a lot. Did you use any photoshop in this?
You got a nice, if not a romantic shot of what keeps the lights on during the darker part of the day.
By some change, I just happened to shoot the power grid in my country this morning as my POD !!!
