9. Brooklands Control Tower

Built in 1932, this control tower must have witnessed thousands of take-offs by newly built aircraft by Vickers. I suspect it was last used in the 1970s and today it is used as offices. Elsewhere on the old airfield there is a museum site comprising aircraft, cars and buses.
