This is Fairlawn Primary School in Bristol's Montpelier district which has recently had a makeover, as it previously educated more senior children. The school was previously named Fairfield. It was built in 1898, and maybe its best known pupil was Cary Grant who in 1918, aged 14, was expelled from here for bad behaviour. Grant emigrated to America two years later.
