Bitton is one of a great many places in the UK that has a railway station that does not get regular services as it used by a heritage railway.
It is the headquarters of the Avon Valley Railway between Bristol and Bath, and the building here was built in the 1860s for the Midland Railway. The line lost its regular service in 1966.
