This shot of Pulborough, a large village/small town in Sussex is taken from the RSPB nature reserve there. Another claim to fame for this place is the annual 12 hour lawn mower race. A duck race is a further annual event - the townsfolk are certainly sporting.

...not to mention the annual "tossing the bread roll' from the tower in Abiingdon fun and games. It looks so calm and peaceful here Ray.

Quite original and practical at the same time :-)) Wonderful to turn lawnmowing into a happy time... I like the "village" spirit of this image.

A lawnmower race that lasts 12 hours...and everyone in the village wears a hearing aid ?? :)) That's up there with our gumboot tossing and Cane Toad races :)
