Ewhurst

Surrey view map

The Bull's Head at Ewhurst was originally an inn and built in 1908. Rumour has it that it was built in the hope that the railway would be nearby, but in the event Ewhurst never had a line, and a planned link between Dorking and Midhurst was never built.
As for the red phone box, I checked and it still has a phone inside, as have two other red boxes in the village.

Lovely composition and nice touch to include
this typical red phone booth!
Clever shot.

There will be some people who don't have mobiles, sometimes I wonder if it's the best idea!
