Clearly dating from 1888, I recently had cause to visit the hall when a plan to cover the local airfield with houses went out to public consultation. Apparently, a scene of 'Call the Midwife' was filmed here in 2015, the location not being very far from Longcross Film Studios which is the drama's main venue. Earlier that year, Colin Firth was filming just over the road.
