Ashford, Surrey
Stopped off in the rather boring town of Ashford today, just to see if there was anything interesting.
Well, there wasn't really, but popped into Kate's Cafe near the railway station.
It was one of those establishments where retail-makeover expert Mary Portas would have a field day. It was tucked down the end of a sleepy arcade, and you virtually had to walk inside the kitchen to order and pay. The decor was rather bizarre too, but all this suited me.
A mug of tea at 70p. We love a bargain!
