A City of Canals, an island over water. A perfect work of engineering.
Depicted to be a place of Romance, Dinners along its lovely canals, getting lost in the maze of its small streets above the waters and eating pizza just about anywhere.
Everyone seems to want to get a glimpse of Venice, thus, it's streets, both "inland" and the canals are full of traffic. People getting lost in the maze is part of the excitement that Venice offers.
Gondola ride for the price of 200Euro, would be perfect and romantic, if one is up to loosing that much money, in exchange for a few minutes of ride along the inner city canals.
Still, despite its few flaws(which place does not) I am still longing to go back.
