Around Venice - Autour de Venise

I went to Venice for the first time when a was 18 , now 40 year later I'm back !
It is a enchantement for a photographer and there are more than 160 galeries about Venice on Pbase
some by very talented peoples who go there again and again fascinated by the city .
So , I will keep it short ! -))
But around Venice there are other place worth a visit like Padova, Riviera de la Brenta and the Venetian laguna itself
with the well-know island of Burano and the lesser known island of Torcello (I did not see any galeries ???)
