Torcello is a tiny island with 10 houses 10' away from Burano with the traghetto
it was a favorite place of novelist E. Hemingway
you should'nt miss a visit to the cathedral Santa Maria e Assunta .
Unfortunately it is forbidden to takes pictures inside like in many places in Italy
