This one sits at the middle of the narrows, over beach that has been washed over by storms. It has a last-outpost-of-humanity kind of feel.

Behind the house is a boardwalk that used to run across the narrows from the gulf side to the bay side. It's storm-damaged and a bit fragmentary now.
