Sighted in Fort Point Channel in the heart of downtown Boston on January 28, 2013. Not a great picture and not a rare bird, but the fun thing is that the bird was banded as a chick on Appledore Island (in the Isles of Shoals off the coast of New Hampshire) seven years ago and hasn't been seen again since.
