Timing

This is not creative cropping.....this is what I caught of this beautiful Red-tailed Hawk as he flew from his post.

Thanks to the wonderful comments and perspectives from Neal and Rob, I changed my caption from "this is all I got..."

You were quick! Usually they open their wings and leave the frame simultaneously, leaving behind a mere smidgeon of tail feathers!

In flight photoraphy takes some practice, makes us appreciate some of the people on Pbase who present perfect in flight captures.
