There is a Common Lesser Earless Lizard and an Elegant Earless Lizard. By this one's markings and
the book descriptions, I believe this to be the Elegant Earless Lizard, which has a long tail and
appears to have more distinct markings.
I see these guys running around my land all the time, generally when I'm out shooting insects and
flowers with my macro lens. These represent two different sightings.
