A little more than a mile from my home is an area where Passion Vine grows, which is the host plant
for the Gulf Fritillary Caterpillar. I walk over there frequently looking for the Passion Flower;
however, I have yet to see one in bloom there. On the other hand, I have been blessed to see many
Gult Fritillary caterpillars and butterflies! On this day, I stood very still right in the middle of
a dense area of these and was thrilled that they flew around me and landed close by repeatedly.
What a marvelous experience that was!
