May 20, 2008: This evening a friend got me a ride on the train that brings the ore pellets out to the ore boats at Marquette's upper harbor ore dock. The dome in the middle of the picture is the Northern Muchigan University Sports Complex. The structure right behind the flying bridge of the ore boat is a conveyor belt system that unloads coal from ore boats to the power plant.
