Loch Lomond is Scotland's first National Part, and is also the largest surface of fresh water in Scotland

Luss is a beautiful little village on Loch Lomond, all the small cottage houses have an abundance of flowers and foliage that are meticulously kept.

We stayed here only 1 night, it was a very beautiful place. The grounds were very well maintained and had trails throughout the castle grounds.

The castle and its collection belong to the clan Campbell. The castle was once the home of the Duke and Dutchess of Argyll.

The same Architect that designed much of Edinburgh's New Town designed this building.

The Kayaker had just come ashore from Loch Fyne as I was about to take a picture of the Loch.

Some of the stones from this castle were used to build the New Glengarry Castle instead of rebuilding the old castle

The town of Inveraray was built on the site of a ruined fishing village in 1745 by the Third Duke of Argyll, head of the powerful Campbell clan.
