 National Wallace MonumentThe monument can be seen from almost anywhere in Stirling, it was built in 1860 to commemorate William "Braveheart" Wallace. It is 220 feet tall with 246 , yes 246 steps to the top, which has wonderful views of the countryside. Luckily, they offer a free shuttle to the top of the hill or I would have never made it up all those steps. |

 Stirling Tour BusWe used the Stirling Tour Bus to get around the city and see the sights. It was really a good bargain, it was 7.50 for adults and you could ride all day and you could also travel the next day free. It took us to all the sites and you could stay at each one as long as you liked |
