There is a thin layer of pink skin over most of the defect. The tape from the dressing is clogging my pores and has left a thick layer of tape/glue that feels sticky. When I shower I have now started to put waterproof tape over a single layer of telfa pad to protect the area. The tape pulls my skin under my eyes and top of cheeks. This was taken after I removed the tape and washed my face avoiding the wound area. I have not found a sunscreen that will work on my skin type yet. As a result of the sunscreen and tape I have a red blotchy rash and some pimples. I do not wear make up on my nose or area where the tape needs to be.
