I have had a consultation for reconstruction. Dressings removed and handed a mirror. The doctor examined the area. The area is apt. 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm in size. This will need cleaned up around the edges so it may get larger before reconstruction. I am given some choices in what can be done to look somewhat normal again and instructed to change the dressing every day and STOP smoking!
