Downcast Spirit

There was a lot of construction going on beside the elephants.
They did not look happy, and seemed downcast of spirit.
I've taken the color out of the photos to hopefully portray the mood.

Very nicely done. All the moods and emotions of a human. Look at the people at the back, to them it is all about progress (money). Nice to see a Indian elephant with the small ears again. Regards. Arno

This makes me think of the story of Dumbo where they wrapped the mother's legs with ropes to bring her down when she went kind of wild. Sad in the story and a kind of sad this picture. However, it's a good shot. I like the desaturation.
