Let us live in harmony with one another,
alive to every nuance of season,
sensitized and vulnerable to all the beauty
and pain of our simultaneous existence.
We’re here on a time-sharing plan;
by coincidence, or perhaps not,
having weather, sunsets, full moons together.
Our lease will expire soon enough.
Meanwhile, let us live in harmony
with one another.
