Very nice capture... I love the looks on their faces... also, thanks for the B&W tip.... that could be useful... i have been using B&W filters from silveroxide.com... they are nice but sometimes you want a bit more control...

Instructions for making Black & White Images in Photoshop:

In Photoshop, create two copied layers of the color photo
(ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+V, then Ctrl+V again).

The top layer will automatically be called "Layer 2".

Change the mode of this layer from normal to color.

Also with this layer, adjust the SATURATION (Ctrl+U)to -100.

"Layer 2" now has a black & white look to it (but we're not done).

Next, go to the lower layer ("Layer 1").

Now adjust the HUE slider (found with Ctrl+U) to whatever
hue position makes the black and white image most acceptable
for you.

Finally, flatten all layers when finished.

And that's it.

Great capture! How do you keep their faces so sharp and silky at the same time?
Guest 20-Mar-2004 06:32
I sure hope you got them away from each other quickly after you snapped this shot :-)
I like the toning and emotion captured here. Good work.
