The first in a series of images captured from my "Front Porch". This young fledgling and a nest-mate have become regular visitors to our front porch. We've gone so far as to put out seeds and water for them too. On one day we counted 9 doves feasting. During a heavy rain storm last week the 2 nestlings stood in front of our door on the porch keeping dry as they watched the rain fall. I almost felt like asking them to come in and watch TV until the rain stopped...but I knew that was foolish...or was it???

This image was captured on the first day that I saw this dove. It lacked fear, or at least it didn't show it. I was allowed to get very close.
