Here's the fan assembly folded back from the top side of the motherboard. The only thing of interest here is that you could replace the fan if it started to be noisey, and this side also gives access to the CMOS battery.

The ribbon cable that you can see connects the 4 LEDs (mounted in the top of the fan assembly) to the motherboard.
