Photo a Day, Day 168...Hey look! More flowers... All of the churches in our area have joined together to build some houses for "Habitat for Humanity." One of their fundraisers was a rose sale... Here is a dozen I picked up today. We had ordered 'Yellow' however, with the drought we've had up in New England apparently the local growers have had problems with their lighter colored roses... I think my "Teasing Georgia" rose which I've photographed a couple times this week is doing so well because it is right outside our basement door and hence gets the dehumidifier dumped on it every other day or so... They've had to go into my 2nd favorite vase since my favorite has the Shasta Daisies in it right now. And this was taken on the deck rail again right as the sun was falling - similar to the Shasta Daisies a couple days ago... Oh and just for Tom I left the big lens on - and yes Tom you're right it does do a wonderful job with shots like this I need to think if it more often!
