Photo a Day, Day 167...Yet another flower picture... I REALLY had every intention of having a photo of something else I even put the 100-400 on hoping for some birds - no luck there but I did take lots of some various leaves and of a huge bumblebee but this was just so pretty... I couldn't resist... Of course the rose and all those buds are way to heavy for the branch - it is actually hanging down and I've rotated it 90 degrees...

I did not originally notice the lens. It is wonderful. I agree with Tom on it's strengths. I stand by my first opinion. Beautiful!

I'm glad you left the 100-400 lens on for this. Its just a fantastic lens for these kinds of images. The background has such a satiny feel to it!
