My most favorite location in the world. I'm standing just beyond a fence I climbed through, to get this shot. The location is just outside an abandoned U.S. Air Force radar station, called Camp Hero. It was used in the pre-satellite age/Cold War, to scan airborne vehicles way out on the horizon, and pass this data onto intercept aircraft. Old school homeland security. It was part of the SAGE radar system. A location worth visiting, and getting lots of pictures.
