Just beautiful - they look like soft cushions filled with air...

I thought about pillows too :)
Very well taken but I prefer the pink version :)

The pink is wonderfully warm and helps identify the subject. The subtle tones of the B&W are visually interesting. I like the color...

WOW Flo you captured the wonderful detail of the rose petals perfectly, you can almost feel the soft velvet of each petal. V

Colour, definitely.

I did too . . thought they were fluffy pillows! =))
Jeff Lobaugh19-Jun-2009 04:33
I thought the B&W were some kind of linen or pillows. Love the color image.
Cindi Smith19-Jun-2009 02:39
I was thinking the black and white one was chips or bread....I like it...works wonderfully both ways!
carol j. phipps19-Jun-2009 00:39
LOL! at me! I thought the b/w was laundry and then when I saw the color, knew the flower!
Phillip Normanton18-Jun-2009 21:26
A winner for the b&w for me on this one :o)

I like it. I needed to look at the title to figure out what it was. Interesting how we jump to conclusions. Great entry.
Nancy Lobaugh18-Jun-2009 12:56
great job.. they looked like a pile of pillows at first!!
Maaike Huizer18-Jun-2009 07:02
Very well done, Flo. They make both great pictures. (But I do like the coloured version just a little bit more).
Guest 18-Jun-2009 06:32
I love the colour on the colour one... ;);)

cool! without the color, I was not sure what it was --- interesting how color informs the brain!
