Great story and great series of pictures. I raised a mockingbird and a white-winged dove and was amazed at how tame and gentle they became. Both were able to be released into the wild. I think the dove still hangs around the yard looking for handouts.

These are all fantastic close-ups! I think that makes you a "Bird Whisperer". How delightful that you can make friends with a bird. I can't even feed the birds anymore and I miss them so will have to enjoy your pictures. I like this one the best too, though they're all so good it's my a slight margin.
