Oh My Gosh....

This is the first time this has happened....
I typically call out "Peanut" from my window, then squirrels and some birds will come, waiting for me to throw out shelled peanuts.
This time a crow came, which just excited me SO much. It swooped down to the ground to get it's peanut and flew to my neighbour's roof top.
I did manage to get a shot of it...can you see the yellowish peanut under it's claw?

Crows are so smart! And it probably observed what the others did a few times, and decided to get a peanut for itself. A marvelous catch, Carol. How exciting! V~

You're a veritable St. Frances of the GTA, feeding all the creatures like that. Crows are so very smart - watch they don't get too habituated to your garden or you will have no baby songbirds this spring (the worst nest-robbers).

I am still smiling at the fact you call out "Peanut" to get the squirrels in!..
