I have noticed a pair of Muscovy ducks living under some bushes by the nearby lake. They are always hiding. The male poked his head up out of these leaves just outside the bushes.
Muscovy ducks are frequently escapees from captivity.

NIce portrait. We have a Muscovy at the local lake. He can be a little territorial, nearly ate my shoelaces off one day.
